Oswego Grill
Oswego Grill advertises itself as “Upscale Elegance at a Casual Price” and we agree. The atmosphere and fine dining is elegant and the prices are affordable considering how delicious each bite is. The restaurant serves cuts of meat and fresh seafood from their custom built hardwood grill that produces excellent flavors the locals in Lake Oswego cannot stop talking about!
Babica Hen Café
The Babica Hen Café is a family-run restaurant in Lake Grove known for its mouth-watering renditions of classic American breakfast foods and classic lunch fare. The café bakes its own cupcakes, cookies, muffins and pies each day so be sure to save a little room for something sweet after your meal and all of their eggs and meats are from local farms near Portland.
Nicoletta’s Table & Marketplace
Experience the charm of a small, Italian market place and trattoria right in Lake Oswego during a visit Nicoletta’s Table & Marketplace. Menu items include homemade pastas, pizzas and breads as well as espressos and other warm beverages. This restaurants quaint charm is unmatched in the community.
The Tavern on Kruse
All of the food at The Tavern on Kruse is farm-to-table and locally sourced and inspired by the current season. You will feel warm the moment you walk in the door and your belly will soon be full with the most flavorful dishes in Lake Oswego. This is fine dining at its best in the area and the owners are from Portland too so it is a local-run business and you know we love that! Entrees include buttermilk fried chicken and white truffle mac and cheese for a side dish.
Jefe
For modern Mexican and Spanish cuisine in Lake Oswego, we recommend Jefe. This is a new restaurant that just opened in 2012 and inspires to provide a modern twist to standard Mexican dishes. The bar features an amazing selection of tequilas too if you want to enjoy Happy Hour and a few low-priced items to nibble on as you sip a cocktail.
Chuckie Pies
All the locals in Lake Oswego know Chuckie Pies as the place for delicious pizzas in the area. This fun restaurant serves pepperoni, sausage, marinara pies and more and you’re sure to see a friendly face or two while you’re there too! There is also a very nice wine selection too if you want to enjoy a glass of wine with your slice of pizza.
Casa Del Pollo
Case Del Pollo is the smallest restaurant on this list but it is a big hit with the owners of Hello Carpets & Floors. The restaurant serves fresh Costa Rican home style cuisine that is light on grease and high on taste. Their signature item is their smoked chicken and they serve several healthy Latin items we love!
